Power Electronic Converter Optimization: Isolated 5kW DC-DC Telecom Power SupplyHere we show the optimization result of an isolated 5kW DC-DC converter. The functionality is equal but one converter has been designed for maximum power density while the other converter has been designed for maximum efficiency. 
For a real application one might find a compromise between efficiency and power density. But it is very helpful to know and verify the boundaries of the design space.
